What’s a lady to do?

Ernie has been uncomfortable meeting four legged creatures many times his size.

And when you spend your pooch adolescence pretty much citified and indoors, becoming a member of a farm animal social network doesn’t happen overnight.

But now, Ernie is a Texas country guy so he is adjusting. He just needed a few weeks to cowboy up.

The captioned images chronicle his development. As you might expect the Texas girl took the initiative, and my pal – with a little coaxing from me – rose to the occasion.

In the weeks to come we’ll see how – or if – this relationship develops.
