You say Alpaca, I say Llama; you say Llama, I say Alpaca……

Spring in Texas is becoming more motorcycle friendly so I was out and about with mine.

Going down a country road to our local airport I came upon a white animal in the road. As I slowed down to see it closer up I looked over to my right and saw two more: another white one and a larger brown-faced fuzz ball. [The initial white one was soon observed in a driveway giving itself a burro-style roll-all-over dirt bath.]

I just had to stop to get a picture of the two behind the fence and did. They have to make you smile.

As my daughter Hannah so aptly asked with the link above: are they alpacas or llamas?

Upon careful consideration I think that we might have one of each.
