Merry Christmas all lit up
Many times over the years I’d simply drive through neighborhoods during Christmas to see the lights. There was always at least one property where I heard myself say, “Wow, look at that one.”
This year one of those homes – with figures, props and background music – is in Fayetteville, Texas, population two hundred fifty eight.
At night the show appears to be painted on a large black canvas made of unique bejeweled scenes. The size of the production has been growing for five years running says creator and family patriarch Justin Malota. “Cars come from as far away as Dallas and Missouri City to see it,” he adds.
One of those sparkling stages seen in the second image reflects the reason for the season. But there is really so much more to see. And the Malota family graciously invites you to do just that.
So if you want to appreciate one of the best Christmas light shows, come on over to the intersection of FM 1291 and Highway 159 in Fayetteville.
Judge for yourself its “Wow” factor.
